Access to clean water is vital to health and MCNV has been pleased to support the installation of boreholes in remote villages in Nong District, Lao PDR.
Thanks to this work villagers can now access water more easily not only improving their health but also ensuring that people do not have to walk long distances to collect water from the river. MCNV has provided training on the maintenance of the pumps and have set up sustainable finance structures so that the villlagers themselves can support and maintain the pumps in the future.
