“After working for 7,5 years for GTZ, The German Development Cooperation, in Kenya, I was thrilled to accept an offer become Programme Leader Health for GTZ in Vietnam. Especially because the program would focus on the disadvaged populations in the northern mountains. As a family of 4 we enjoyed living and working with the Vietnamese people so much. The opportunity to contribute to the great work of MCNV is a wonderful and challenging opportunity, in times that inquities in Vietnam are obvious and growing. The committee showed for many years and still does, that there are still selected target groups that need specialized support. I am happy to invest my broad experience as a medical doctor by training and as public health systems specialist for various organisations Memisa, DGIS, GIZ in many different countries across Asia and Africa for the benefit of MCNV and its dedicated team.” – Henri van den Hombergh.
